Privacy notice

Who is responsible

PIKSELO d.o.o. is the controller for the personal data processed through this website. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

Visiting the website

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and maps are served from our own website, not from third parties.

Our hosting provider, DigitalOcean, processes your IP address and technical details of each request to deliver the pages and keep the website secure. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you send the form

We store your name, work e-mail address, organisation and role, any optional answers and message, the language of the page, the time and your browser's user agent.

We use them to reply to your request, prepare the call and keep a record of it. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in following up business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Before the form is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending it. Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical browser data for this check. This is our legitimate interest in keeping automated spam out (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Once your request is stored, its contents are e-mailed to our team through Resend, an e-mail delivery service.

To reply in your language, we may translate your message and our reply with an AI translation service. Our team writes and checks every reply; nothing is answered automatically.

Product updates

We send occasional product updates only if you tick the box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw at any time, with the link in every update or by writing to [email protected].

Service providers and transfers

The providers named above process data for us under data processing agreements. Where a provider processes data outside the EU, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If an enquiry leads to a contract, the records are kept for as long as the law requires for that contract.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or handed to you in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected].

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Slovenia the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si), or the authority where you live or work.

We make no automated decisions about you. If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
